About MEISAI
Israeli Association for Middle Eastern and Islamic (Esat) is an apolitical, non-profit organization that serves the entire hostel-Israel Public Orientalists. Society is substituted Israel Oriental Society, which was founded by the Orientalist academic school leaders in Israel in 1949 . the Association strives, as stated in its articles, to impart knowledge and encourage research activity in Israel, on its various disciplines, fields of Islam and the Middle East.
the Association holds annual conferences in various academic institutions throughout the country. these conferences are an attraction for hundreds of Orientalists and the general public wishing to acquire knowledge on Islam and the Middle East. convention used what the leading scholars in the country, as well as young researchers early in their careers, and they are devoted to topics of public interest special. conference gives the Association the Outstanding Member MEISAI senior researchers who have left their mark in the study of the Middle East and Islam Israel and award outstanding research work. In addition, meetings are held every year the Forum Bar which are made in-depth discussions of new research. Journal of the Association, the East nouvelle published annually, and is being published since 1949.
